    The Pepper: ah-bahn-AIR-oh, meaning from "Havana", is an intensely spicy chile with distinctive flavor and tropical fruit notes. Blended in the right amount, it gives the luxurious Raspberries a distinctive zingy sweet edge.

    This smear-ripened Italian cheese is one of the oldest soft cheeses produced. It has a strong smell, but its taste is relatively mild with an unusual fruity tang. Made from cow's milk.
  • Strawberry Jicama Summer Salad
    (Serves 3, Prep time: 10 min)

    What to get
    1 lb. Strawberries, washed, hulled & quartered
    1 small Jicama, peeled & julienned
    3 T PRIMO Raspberry Habanero Preserves
    3 T Extra virgin olive oil
    1 T Cider vinegar
    1 T Fresh lemon juice
    2 T Salted sunflower seeds
    Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

    How to make
    In a glass bowl, toss the strawberries and jicama and season with salt and pepper and set aside for 5 minutes to let the flavors develop. To make the vinaigrette, use a separate small bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and season with salt. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the fruit salad and mix to coat the fruit evenly.

    How to Enjoy
    Divide the salad among 3 small plates and sprinkle with sunflower seeds. Enjoy with a chilled glass of Pinot Gris or Vinho Verde.
