Baked Pears with Blackberry Serrano and Créme Fraîche
(Serves 2-4, Prep time: 40 min)
What to get
2-3 Ripe Bosc Pears
½ jar PRiMO Blackberry Serrano Preserves
3-4 T Lemon juice
2 T Cane Sugar
Dash of Vanilla or Hazelnut Extract
6oz. Créme Fraîche or Whipped cream
How to make
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a medium glass bowl, add the lemon juice, extract and cane sugar. Whisk until sugar is mostly dissolved. With skin on, core and quarter each pear into 4 slices. Toss the pear slices in the lemon juice/sugar mixture until fully coated. Arrange the slices in a single layer in a baking dish and bake, turning the slices occasionally to prevent scorching, for 25 to 30 minutes or until the pears are tender and golden brown.
How to enjoy
Transfer 2-3 baked pear slices onto individual serving plates; add Créme Fraîche on the side and top with a dollop of Blackberry Serrano Preserves and serve immediately.
