  • Strawberry Ancho Whipped Lemon Chèvre
    (Serves 6, Prep time: 15 min)

    What to get
    8 oz. Chèvre (Fresh Goat Cheese) softened to room temperature
    ½ jar PRiMO Strawberry Ancho Preserves
2 T Lemon juice
Zest of ½ Lemon
    Sea salt (to Taste)
    Rose Water
    1 Package Tartlets (count 24)
    Thinly Sliced Fresh Strawberries or Mint Leaves for Garnish (optional)

    How to make
    For whipped chèvre: In a small glass bowl, combine the goat cheese, lemon juice and zest with a hand mixer until smooth. Season with salt to taste. Set aside. In a separate small bowl, combine the Strawberry Ancho Preserves with a few drops of Rosewater and set aside.

    How to Enjoy
    Arrange the tartlets on a serving platter. Spoon the Strawberry Ancho/Rosewater mixture first then top with a dollop of the whipped lemon chèvre. Garnish with one slice of fresh strawberry or mint and serve with a chilled glass of champagne, Riesling or Spanish Albarino.
